Welcome to the Diocese of Fredericton’s Choir School website!  Our 50th year of continuous ministry to the Church was a wonderful success, and we are thankful to God for all the ways in which we were able to celebrate. Now we look forward to our 51st year of fulfilling our mandate, to strengthen people’s gifts of sacred choral singing for use in the wider Church.  Click here for a recap of the week that was July, 2007.

Choral Evensong Service on CD!!!

The 50th Anniversary Choral Evensong service that took place at Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton this past July, was recorded.  While not a professional recording, it nonetheless captures very well the essence of the service and the music offered on that wonderful day.  The CD is being offered for sale at a cost of $10, which includes shipping, as a fund-raiser for Choir School.  If you’d like to order one or more, please click here to email Lynn Mills, who is looking after this project.

Choir School 2008 is Set to Begin July 6th!!!

Once again, Choir School takes over the campus of Rothesay-Netherwood School for a week of excellent choral singing, fun, and Christian growth as upwards of 130 people gather for the 51st season!  Daily updates via our Choir School blog (click on the angel at the top right hand side of this page to go there) will be offered, beginning July 7th, featuring activities and news of the day.  As well, the daily newspaper, The Chanting Chorister, will also be available online.  Also, our staff for 2008 is set; check them out on the Board page.  Keep the choristers in your prayers, as they gather and support each other in their use of their Godly gifts!
